Prior to becoming the CEO at Fiix, James served as the company’s President & Chief Operating Officer. Previous to Fiix, James was Vice President, Channel Accounts at BlackBerry (originally known as Research in Motion). Over his 12 years at BlackBerry, James led the company’s in-market international expansion in more than 20 countries in Latin America, Europe and the Gulf region. In addition, James led the strategic partner relationship with top US Wireless Carriers forging BlackBerry’s consumer and enterprise business to one of the leading smartphone providers globally.

James holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. James was previously an advisory board member of Wilfrid Laurier University Launch Pad Incubator and is currently an active member of both PeerScale, Ontario’s premier technology leadership group, and Young Presidents’ Organization.
