Shane Murphy is the co-founder of Founded, a legal platform that makes it easy to start, build and grow businesses. Thousands of businesses and law firms trust Founded to automate legal work, including incorporations, legal documents, and ongoing compliance, creating a collaborative legal experience.
Shane started his legal career at one of Canada's largest law firms and then moved to a business and litigation boutique firm. At Founded, Shane leads all legal products and processes, closely working with the design and engineering teams. Shane also assists with establishing the future strategy of Founded. An expert on startup companies with global ambitions, Shane has appeared as a guest on BNN's "The Disruptors" and provides educational support to entrepreneurs through the Entrepreneurship 101 program at MaRS. He holds two law degrees from McGill University, and a master's degree from the London School of Economics. Shane is a lifelong musician and plays bass in the Toronto-based punk rock band, The Do-Nothings.
